EATING DISORDER CONSULTATION FOR HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS

Eating disorders are complex and require unique consideration and intervention. If you are like most healthcare professionals and mental health providers, you have not received specified training in the treatment of eating disorders.

It's a niche specialty and yet the prevalence of eating disorders in the United States means that it is likely you have frequently encountered individuals struggling with these issues in your practice.

Quality care for this population includes initial diagnostic screening, knowing when to refer to a specialist and how to address these issues with your client or patient.

What I offer: I have worked in the field of eating disorder treatment for 14 years at every level of care including Residential/Inpatient, Partial hospitalization, Intensive Outpatient, and Individual Outpatient. I received the majority of my pre-license internship hours in these settings where I worked with diverse populations, individuals, groups and families under the supervision of highly specialized licensed clinicians and on multidisciplinary treatment teams including MD's, Dietitians, RN's, Psychologists, and Psychiatrists.
